Topeka man charged after Christmas Eve security breach at KCI

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Prosecutors have charged a Topeka man with trespassing after he breached security at the Kansas City International Airport on Christmas Eve.

Court documents filed in Platte County Circuit Court on Friday, Jan. 2, reveal that Tevin D. Asamoah, 28, jumped a perimeter fence and walked onto the active airfield just after 7 p.m. on Dec. 24, 2024.
