Police in Missouri say a mother has been safely reunited with her baby after her car was stolen with the child still inside.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said the woman left her Jetta running while picking up food in the Bevo neighborhood Wednesday night, and a car thief jumped in and drove away with her 1-year-old baby still inside.
Officers quickly responded to the scene, and located the car and baby “a short distance” away within 30 minutes. The baby was safe, and was returned to their mother…
