EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – An Evansville man is charged with dealing meth after a traffic stop early Saturday led to his arrest, police say.
Evansville Police say officers stopped 43-year-old David Stoddard at the intersection of E. Walnut Street and S. Fares Avenue at about 12:59 a.m. on January 3.
According to an affidavit, the Stoddard’s car’s license plate was unreadable and missing a large portion of its bottom half.
A check revealed Stoddard had an active misdemeanor warrant from Vanderburgh County; he was taken into custody without incident, authorities said…
