‘Safety Town’ program would teach Walker kids lifesaving skills in mini city

KENT COUNTY, MI – Several years ago, Jenna Wilmers was talking with her mother about ways her growing son could practice calling 911 without getting in trouble.

“My brother actually did that when I was younger,” said Wilmers, who told the story during a Dec. 8 city of Walker meeting.
