Authorities on Saturday identified the remaining two hikers found dead on Mount Baldy earlier this week, days after a 19-year-old Seal Beach hiker was confirmed among the victims.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said Juan Sarat Lopez, 37, and Bayron Pedro Ramos Garcia, 36 — both from Guatemala and residing in Los Angeles — were positively identified Friday by the Sheriff’s Coroner Division. Investigators believe the two men fell from the Devil’s Backbone Trail the same day they were located.
Their identifications come after authorities on Wednesday confirmed one of the three deceased hikers as Marcus Alexander Muench Casanova, a 19-year-old resident of Seal Beach. His cause of death remains pending…
