One Florida man committed multiple break-ins. Was he looking for cash, electronics, or other valuables? Nope. It appears 22-year-old Daniel Alejandro Puga was undergoing a fashion makeover.
On Dec. 23, Puga waited until an auto parts store closed. He allegedly smashed the rear window of a pickup truck parked outside. His target was a special-edition cowboy hat bearing Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd’s name.
The truck’s owner was out of town. No one noticed the break-in for several days. That delay gave Puga time to enjoy his new accessory and, apparently, plan his next look. What pairs with a sheriff’s cowboy hat? A fire department shirt, of course.
