Robert Lawrence Moore, 23, of Powder Springs is accused of arson on Dec. 22 at 12:20 a.m. at a residence at 2207 Windermere Way, Powder Springs, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
Moore was inside of his residence with the victims when he poured lighter fluid on the stove, kitchen counter and the floor of the main level. He was successful in starting a small fire on the top of the stove. One of the victim’s was able to extinguish that fire. Moore then went out into the garage and started another fire on the staircase and door leading to the residence from the garage. Police officers were able to extinguish that fire, according to the warrant.
Moore is charged with arson – first endanger. He was arrested on Dec. 22 at 1:15 a.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
