David Sacks became the latest Silicon Valley billionaire this week to publicly establish a new home outside California as a proposed wealth tax looms over the state’s richest residents.
On New Year’s Eve, Craft Ventures, the venture capital firm co-founded by Sacks and Bill Lee, announced the opening of a new office in Austin after signing a lease in December.
Lee has lived and worked in Austin since 2022, and Sacks relocated there earlier last month. The firm said it would continue to maintain offices in San Francisco and New York…
