Sacramento, CA — Hundreds of new laws are taking effect in California covering a range of issues.
During the last legislative session, over 790 bills were signed by Governor Gavin Newsom.
They cover issues ranging from immigration to wildfires, artificial intelligence, social media, and renter protections. Included is a bipartisan package of more than 20 bills aimed at improving resources for California’s response and recovery efforts in the future for natural disasters like wildfires.
