After the U.S. announced it captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro early Saturday morning, some San Antonians rejoiced while others plan to protest any military action in the country.
Maduro’s capture was the culmination of a months-long campaign from the Trump administration to put pressure on the South American nation.
A protest, titled “No War on Venezuela!,” is planned at 4 p.m. at the intersection of San Pedro Avenue and Basse Road on the city’s North Side.
