Greeley and Weld County residents can recycle their real, natural Christmas trees for free from now until Jan. 31. Trees can be dropped off at the Greeley Organic Waste (GROW) Center’s new location at 1150 25th Ave.
Residents must remove decorations and lights from the tree before dropping it off. Staff at the center grind up the trees and turn them into compost. Recycling this material helps reduce landfill waste and lowers greenhouse gas emissions…
