CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio – Cuyahoga Falls City School District students in grades 6-12 will start 2026 in a new building when they return to school on Jan. 5.
The new campus is located at 2630 13th St., on the site of the former Newberry Elementary and Bolich Middle schools. The grades 6-12 campus features a 365,000-sq.-ft. building that includes a performing arts center, black box theatre, media center, planetarium, athletic stadium and practice fields, collaborative spaces, student dining area and three gymnasiums, according to the school’s website.
The district broke ground on the $136 million project in September 2022. Some $80 million of the project was funded by local taxpayers, according to the school’s website. Approximately $33 million of the project was funded by the state, via the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission. Hammond Construction led the project construction.
The campus also includes new and expanded athletic facilities designed to improve student wellness and performance. This fall, the campus’ Lambert Stadium opened and hosted the district’s football team, boys’ and girls’ soccer teams and marching band, according to the district.
