FAIRFIELD COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — A South Carolina woman was arrested on Dec. 31 in connection with an alleged scam involving a boutique in Anderson County.
According to a social media post from the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a report from a Fairfield County resident on Dec. 26, saying they were a victim of a scam involving Thomas and Turner Boutique in Anderson County.
Following the complaint, deputies investigated and presented the case to a Fairfield County Magistrate, who then issued an arrest warrant for Pamela Brooke Schronce, the owner of the boutique, on Dec. 31 on a charge of obtaining goods under false pretenses, in violation of South Carolina Code of Laws 16-13-240…
