A bicyclist in Fremont died after crashing with a semi-truck Friday afternoon, according to the Fremont Police Department.
Around 12:20 p.m. Friday, a man was biking south on Osgood Road near Auto Mall Parkway when he was struck by a semi-truck, officials said. The bicyclist — identified by the Alameda County Coroner’s Office as Danny Chiu, 69, of Fremont — died on the scene.
