Orangevale Standoff Ends Peacefully as Suspect Detained and Hazel Avenue Reopens

A standoff that began on New Year’s Day in Orangevale, involving a barricaded suspect, has ended, and Hazel Avenue has reopened.

CBS News Sacramento reported that the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office responded to an individual who allegedly fired a gun into the air before remaining inside his parents’ home on Dixon Oaks Lane.
