Montgomery County Police 5th District Special Assignment Team officers carried out a search warrant on Friday in the Crystal Rock area of Germantown following several days of surveillance related to suspected drug activity, according to police.
The operation, conducted with assistance from SWAT, resulted in the seizure of three handguns, including two with extended magazines, and a large quantity of crack cocaine.
Police said seven adults were arrested during the operation, which was a joint effort involving the 5th District Special Assignment Team, 1st and 6th District SAT officers, the 5th District Community Action Team, and the Special Investigations Division.
