WHITEVILLE — UNCW graduate and Lumberton native Morgan Britt is the new head coach of the Southeastern Community College Rams Softball team. She will also serve as Head of Student Activities and Wellness Coordinator.
She will be granted the task of starting a program from ground up, building a team and roster. Britt has started quickly, contacting local athletic directors and coaches for regional talent.
Britt played softball for UNCW five years, sitting out one year due to an injury. In 2024, she was a member of the CAA Conference Championship team, batting .256 with 22 runs batted in. While at Lumberton High School, she was twice All-State as a pitcher, going 53-19 with 553 strikeouts.
