Three teen-agers are facing felony charges of engaging in organized criminal activity after police officials say they were caught with stolen credit cards and other property during a traffic stop in Kyle.
The three teens — Nathaniel Montalvo, 18, of Kyle; Eduardo De Jesus Ramirez, 17, of Austin; and Jorge Sanchez, 17, of Manor — were stopped by police on Wednesday. Officers say they admitted to stealing guns and multiple vehicles on Tuesday night in the Spicewood area, about 35 miles west of Austin, according to a news release from the Kyle Police Department.
Police officers found 14 stolen credit cards, three stolen checks and two driver’s licenses in the teens’ vehicle, according to the news release. They also found several bottles of alcohol and a “distributable amount” of THC vape pens.
