Deputy hurt while responding to a domestic violence incident in Wisconsin

LISBON, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities say one deputy was hurt while responding to a New Year’s Day domestic violence incident in Wisconsin.

According to a release from the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at 7:21 p.m. to a home on Oakwood Road in the Village of Lisbon for reports of a domestic violence incident.

While responding to the incident, officials say a 64-year-old man intentionally directed his dog towards a deputy, leading to the dog biting the deputy and requiring the deputy to use deadly force on the dog to stop the attack.
