Loved ones, bystanders honor the lives lost one year after the Bourbon Street terror attack

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — January 1, 2025, will always be etched in the back of the minds of many, as it marks the one-year anniversary of the Bourbon Street terror attack that killed 14 people and injured dozens of others.

“Nobody was expecting anything like that, even the cops that were on duty. It’s a blessing to see all these people come back a year later. My respect goes to the 14 victims,” said Aaron Michael Stuart.

As the city of New Orleans marks the first anniversary of the New Year’s Day terrorist attack, people stopped by the memorial in front of the Presbytère to pay their respects…
