‘We believe the system is not working:’ Police, lawmakers push juvenile justice reform

MISSOURI, USA — Police chiefs and lawmakers across Missouri are pushing for changes to the juvenile justice system. They say repeat offenders are cycling through with little accountability.

As lawmakers head into the legislative session soon, Police Chief Chris DiGiuseppi said reform is urgently needed to protect communities and help kids before it’s too late.
