HONOLULU (Island News) — A woman was hospitalized following a moped accident in the Nimitz area on Saturday morning.
The accident happened on Sand Island Parkway in the Nimitz area at about 10:34 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, according to the Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS). A 43-year-old woman was driving her moped when she crashed her vehicle.
EMS treated her for multiple injuries and took her to an emergency room in serious condition. She was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident…
