Two people were hospitalized following separate snowmobile accidents in the Town of Chautauqua on Saturday. According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, the first one occurred shortly after 4:30 PM in the area of McKay Road. An unidentified male was transported by North Lake Fire to the Hamot Medical Center in Erie for non-life threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the second incident occurred on a snowmobile trail at about 7:00 PM. Deputies say 38-year-old Donald Foley of Willoughby, Ohio was ejected from the snowmobile going around a curve and struck a tree.
