I know that buffets sometimes get a bad rep from people, but I love them. In fact, I miss all of the buffets that we used to have when I was a kid. Places like Golden Corral, Siroloin Stockade, Ryan’s, Old Country Buffet, and Ponderosa Steakhouse are prime examples of “you don’t know what you got until it’s gone.”
When it comes to going out to eat, the price of a plate of food that doesn’t even fill you up just isn’t worth it. Buffets allow you to eat as much as you want. Something about “all-you-can-eat” just makes me happy, because it reminds me of my childhood. Nowadays, it seems like there are mainly Chinese buffets since all of the major ones have since closed. One website recently named the best all-you-can-eat buffet in each state, and the restaurant they chose from Kentucky is one that I have been to a few times.
