17 people impacted after a fire in West Dayton, Red Cross provides resources

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — Over a dozen people have been forced out of their homes due to a fire, and a local organization is stepping up to give them a helping hand.

On Friday, it was reported that the Miami Valley Ohio Chapter of the Red Cross was requested at 1 a.m. to help with a fire that happened at 420 Westwood Avenue.

As a result of their response, the organization is now helping 17 people who were displaced as a result of the fire…
