HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – An Evansville woman leads a high-speed chase through the bottoms near the southeast side of Evansville. Earlier this morning.Authorities say Lindsay Sapp lead deputies on an 18-mile chase after they discovered her and Jeff Warner in a Buick parked on Sand Pit Rd.“From start to finish, it covered about 14 miles across, the southern part of Vanderburgh County,” says Major Mark Rasure.According to officials, at some point during the pursuit, Warner jumped out of the vehicle.“During that pursuit, one of the passengers was the vehicle started to slow down a bit, and then one of the passengers, was able to get out of the vehicle or kind of climb from the vehicle as the vehicle was still moving and almost got ran over during that process,” says Major Mark Rasure.The chase came to an abrupt ending in an Ohio river embankment.
