Los Angeles police are investigating a shooting that left one woman dead and another seriously injured in the Westlake area Friday night.
The shooting occurred just before 6 p.m. near Bonnie Brae Street and Sixth Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department Robbery-Homicide Division.
Investigators said two women, ages 35 and 40, were struck by gunfire and transported to a hospital. One of the women later died from her injuries. The other remained in serious condition…
