Pedestrian dead after crash on I-65 in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A portion of Interstate 65 in North Nashville was closed Sunday morning after a deadly crash involving a pedestrian, according to police.

The crash was reported at 2:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-65 near Rosa L Parks Boulevard. According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, a man was sitting in the middle of the road wearing dark colored clothing when he was struck by a Hyundai Sonata. The man died at the scene.
