OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – On Friday, EMBARK announced the launch of its OKC Streetcar free fare pilot program beginning January 5.
According to EMBARK officials, the six-month pilot program period runs from January 5th through July 5th, allowing OKC residents and visitors to try the streetcar for free.
Riders can expect during January 5 – July 5 to board the streetcar at any streetcar platform—no tickets required. EMBARK says the six-month pilot program will test if eliminating fares significantly boosts OKC Streetcar usage.
