MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – Four teenagers were arrested Wednesday night after police say they stole a vehicle and ran from officers in Wisconsin.
The Madison Police Department said an officer noticed a vehicle run a red light while responding to an unrelated call. When the officer attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle fled and was not pursued.

Police continued to monitor the vehicle from a distance as it drove through a parking lot in the 4300 block of Lien Road. The vehicle eventually slid off the roadway and stopped near shrubs, at which point four occupants ran into a nearby wooded area.
Officers deployed a drone, which quickly located all four teens. They were taken into custody without further incident. Police later confirmed the vehicle had been reported stolen earlier Wednesday.
