PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Cinemark’s “Bring Your Own Bucket” event is back for a sequel.
Cinemark announced plans for its second-annual BYOB promotion on Friday, calling it “the ultimate experience for popcorn lovers.” During the two-day event — scheduled for Jan. 18 and 19 — customers can fill any vessel of their choosing with up to 400 ounces of movie-theater popcorn for just $5 at more than 300 of the theater chain’s locations.
As part of this year’s event, Cinemark is also partnering with Lowe’s, and the theater chain even recommends bringing a 5-gallon Lowe’s bucket to be filled with popcorn, as it’s the only vessel exempt from the 400-ounce limit…
