Fort Campbell soldier takes reenlistment oath on horseback at Clarksville farm | PHOTOS

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Veteran Equine Time in Clarksville was recently the site of a Fort Campbell soldier reenlistment ceremony. Cpl. Savannah Gibson-Santee with the 72nd Medical Detachment, took her reenlistment oath on horseback on Dec. 17.

Gibson-Santee has been a service member for five years. “I love the mission and I love being in the Army. It gives me purpose in my life. I love to help people, and I just want to keep giving back,” she said.

Commander of the 72nd Medical Detachment Lt. Col. Philip Bowling, also on horseback, delivered the oath for reenlistment. “We are really proud of her service and recommitment to the Army and service to our nation,” Bowling said…
