SPOKANE, Wash. – The Lions held a 14-4 lead early, then it was all Gonzaga the rest of the way as the #7 Bulldogs claimed an 82-47 win in potentially the final meeting between the programs.
LMU went on an 10-0 run after Gonzaga’s opening basket to take a 10-2 lead. Gonzaga missed nine straight shots after their opening layup and missed eight threes in a row to start the game. Rokas Jocius and Jalen Shelley both hit a pair of shots in the paint as part of that initial spurt.
