Winter Storm Dumps Over Two Feet of Snow in Parts of County

Portions of Chautauqua County received more than two feet of snow from the long duration winter storm that impacted the area over the past week. As of Sunday morning, the highest reported snowfall amount received by the National Weather Service in Buffalo was 25.8 inches near Dewittville over the course of five days. Other totals include 23.5 inches in Cassadaga, 20.5 inches near Mayville, 16.8 inches near Fredonia, 16.2 inches near Dunkirk, and 15.4 inches in the Jamestown area.
