Traffic stop leads to drug arrest in Upstate

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A weekend traffic stop ended with a man arrested on charges of drug trafficking and carrying a stolen pistol.

According to Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on East Butler Road in Mauldin over the weekend. During the stop, the deputy reportedly located and seized:

  • Fentanyl: 73.78 grams
  • Methamphetamine: 41.91 grams
  • Schedule II narcotics: 13 pills
  • Schedule IV narcotics: 30 pills
  • 1 stolen firearm

The deputy also arrested John Clyde Henderson on charges of trafficking fentanyla dn methamphetamine, as well as drug possession and possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon…
