(KRON) — Dispatch centers in Marin County are down Sunday night, the Marin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) announced on social media. Authorities did not specify but said “multiple” dispatch centers are experiencing 911 service outages.
An unknown number of Marin County residents are likely not able to call 911 at this time, the sheriff’s office said.
In the case of an emergency, residents are told to go to their nearest fire station. The San Rafael Police Department suggests calling (415) 485-3393 as an alternative for residents of that city.
