The collision happened while the tractor-trailer was traveling south on Delta Road in Peach Bottom Township on Friday, Oct. 18, according to state police.
The tractor-trailer struck the horse and buggy, ejecting the buggy’s operator, Daniel Esh, 60, and causing severe injuries, police explained. Esh was taken to Lancaster General Hospital with broken ribs, a broken forearm, and a fractured spine, police said.
