Charges pending following Lexington I-75 RV barricade situation

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Investigators said criminal charges are pending for a person who was taken to a hospital on Sunday night after allegedly barricading herself inside a recreational vehicle (RV) on the highway in Lexington.

The Scott County Sheriff’s Office told FOX 56 News that deputies were dispatched the night of Jan. 4 in response to reports of a reckless RV driver on I-75 South.

Deputies said the driver barricaded herself inside the RV, and she was taken to a nearby hospital after it was determined that she was suffering from a “mental health issue.”
