Sequatchie County man charged in Christmas Eve trailer park shooting appears in court

SEQUATCHIE COUNTY, Tenn. — A man from Sequatchie County who faces charges for a shooting that happened on Christmas Eve made his first appearance in court on Monday.

Our cameras were rolling as James Stockwell faced a judge during a bond hearing.

An arrest report we obtained says Stockwell shot another man in the leg on December 24th.

That report says this happened during a fight between the two men at Brushcreek Trailer Park.

After the shooting, deputies say Stockwell ran away.
