Armed suspect wanted after Christmas Eve and Christmas Day shootings has been captured

UPDATE: Creola Police identified the suspect as 32-year-old Jarad Williams. The Prichard resident was booked into Mobile Metro Jail on January 5th. He’s charged with reckless endangerment and two counts of shooting into an occupied building/vehicle.

CREOLA, Ala (NBC 15) — CREOLA, Ala (NBC 15) — The Creola Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying and finding an armed suspect. Investigators say he’s fired shots at people he’s argued with in two different stores the last two nights. On Christmas, Chief Shane Stringer says officers responded to the Raceway gas station on Highway 43.

“Discovered that a car had been shot and also one round had struck the building,” said Stringer. “One of the rounds went through the headrest on the vehicle.”…
