As expected, the movie starring Glen Powell, for which J.J. Abrams shot scenes in Providence in August, has a new name: “The Great Beyond,” according to World of Reel, which cited a filing with the Writers Guild of America.
Production was under the working title “Ghostwriter” while filming.
During a week of filming in Providence, culminating with the overnight closure of the Point Street Bridge, Abrams filmed Powell at more than half a dozen locations in and around Providence.
