Dispute over fiber installation in Raleigh neighborhood ends in arrest

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — What started as a dispute over fiber-optic installation landed a woman in handcuffs after she allegedly refused to let crews work on her property.

Neighbors who witnessed the entire incident say the woman was protesting against a hole being placed in her yard.

“I looked out the window. I saw police cars, an ambulance, a fire truck, and was like what’s going on here,” said a neighbor…
