Addiction Recovery Center Plans New Facility On Oleander Drive

Tree House Recovery, an addiction recovery center, has plans to build a new multi-building treatment facility on Oleander Drive in Wilmington.

Plans for the new facility include a dedicated gym, yoga studio, courtyard, clinical building and up to six group homes. The organization, which was founded in California in 2013, offers clients a holistic treatment approach that incorporates fitness- and teamwork-based therapies, one-on-one sessions, writing and more, said Clayton McMillen, Tree House’s chief operating officer and co-founder.

“We’re very different in terms of our approach to treating addiction,” McMillen said. “We actually specialize in getting (people) off of medications, which is a common go-to for people who are struggling with addictions.”…
