It’s a new year in Mississippi, but some things don’t seem to change and one of those is the state’s wild weather changes.
According to the National Weather Service, Jackson is expected to see temperatures this week that feel more like spring than the dead of winter, but later this week severe storms are predicted to move in followed by colder air that will be more fitting of January.
In the Jackson area, expect a mix of clouds and sunshine for the next few days with a high temperature of 69 degrees today and highs in the mid to upper 70s the remainder of the work week. Hattiesburg is forecast to see almost identical conditions and temperatures for the same time period…
