MADISON COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) – In what was another heated meeting, the Madison County Board of Supervisors again discussed a $6 million road plan – and the two parts of the county that some supervisors say were unfairly left out.
In December, the board approved the 2026 plan, which includes sections of nearly 30 roads and a $1 million wastewater improvement project – but no streets in Districts One and Two.
The city of Madison has since filed suit against the county, saying the board, among other things, violated the state’s Open Meeting Act in passing the plan without including it on the agenda first…
