Women honored for heroic actions curing infant hot car tragedy in Collegedale

COLLEGEDALE, Tenn. — In the middle of an unimaginable tragedy, three women in Collegedale stepped forward and did everything they could to save a life.

The Collegedale Police Department recently honored those women for their bravery during a heartbreaking emergency that unfolded last summer and led to the death of an infant.

On August 12th, 2024, officers responded to a medical emergency in a school zone involving an unresponsive infant who had been left inside a hot truck.
