Parents searching for answers after son’s New Year’s Eve disappearance

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The parents of a Alabama man reported missing New Year’s Day are asking the public for help finding him.

Dezman Hereford, 21, was last seen in security footage from New Year’s Eve getting into a white SUV in front of his home in the Winchester-Moores Mill area of Huntsville. His father, Kendricks Hereford, said he didn’t say anything about leaving. He said this behavior was uncharacteristic of Dezman.

“He ain’t never been in trouble, he’s a good kid,” Kendricks said. “[We] just don’t know where to begin, where to start looking.”
