MORGAN CO., Ala. (WAFF) – A Morgan County man convicted of killing Frankie Smith in 2021 was sentenced on Tuesday morning.
Spencer Harwell was arrested for shooting Smith after an argument at Smith’s business in June 2021.
Throughout the trial, Harwell claimed self-defense; he claimed Smith attacked him with a tire iron.
