Blount County deputy laid to rest in Knoxville after fatal crash

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Friends, family, law enforcement and community members gathered for Blount County Deputy Justin Mowery‘s burial on Monday.

He was laid to rest at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery following a procession from First Baptist Concord Church.

“Yes we grieve because Justin has gone before us, but as Christians we grieve differently. Not without sorrow, but with hope,” a speaker at the burial said.
