(KTLA) — Lunch turned chaotic at a Granada Hills restaurant when a Tesla slammed through its front windows, leaving glass and debris scattered across the dining room.
Both the Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles Fire Department received calls about the crash at Ali Baba Persian Restaurant, located at 17513 W. Chatsworth St.
Details remain limited, and it’s unclear how the accident happened. Aerial footage captured by Sky5 showed a white Tesla Model Y that appeared to lose control, driving onto the sidewalk under the restaurant’s awning and smashing through several large windows.

From overhead, the vehicle’s front end appeared heavily damaged, while footage posted to the Citizen app showed shattered glass strewn across the dining room and mangled window frames.
